Puzzle #58 - Bits & Pieces - Welcome Home to Lambertville - 300 pieces

This was in that set of puzzles that had the famous 300 piece that nearly broke me earlier this year (when I was just beginning puzzles).  Doing this one today I can understand why!!  It isn't just the wonky shaped pieces (which I am way more used to now and don't mind as much)... it is primarily the image itself.  While lovely to look at, the whole darn thing is SO indistinct!!  There is no definition on anything!  It makes the image nearly unrecognizable except (maybe) by color.  THAT is what is bad about these puzzles.  

Too bad... I do love the images but I know more now and would never order anything of any size that looks like this.  Nuts and bolts - the pieces are solid, thick, fit together extremely well.  No puzzle dust.  Nicely made puzzle.  But you have to be willing to have a completely vague image to be happy with Ruane Manning's puzzles.
