This is another one from the set of 4 Corner Shops series from Falcon.  Just as delightful as the Hairdresser was!  Great thickness to the pieces, wonderful heavy-weight poster, bright image that is clear to see, challenging but not frustrating.  A few false fits but easily figured out.  I am a sure fire fan of Falcon from here on out.  which is great because I really love their puzzle images!  No puzzle dust, as well.

Another puzzle with almost zero puzzle dust.  The last several I have done have been like this... makes the puzzle dust from White Mountain and Ravensburger really stand out as gross!  This is a nice puzzle.  Nice sized pieces, loose fit, but okay.  Sure wish there was a poster.  At least the image on the box is good sized.  The 550 piece puzzles from VCC are simple and easy but fun.

Was a fun puzzle all around.  Glad to put it together.

Simple and easy and quick.  But fun.  Bright image and colorful pieces.  Easy to hold and good sized (not too large, not too small).  Very loose fit but that is okay.  Basically no puzzle dust.  And I LOVE that oversize poster!!  Love, love, love!  Enjoyable puzzle to put together.

Falcon Corner Shops The Hairdresser - 1000 pieces

Image by Victor McLindon - this is one of a set of 4 that I bought from the United Kingdom.  LOVE IT!!!  This one is The Hairdresser.  There are 3 other corner shop puzzles to go... The Greengrocer, The Florist, and The Toy Shop.  Plan to enjoy them all!  The pieces are thick and firm like Gibsons.  Not quite as thick but oh so nice.  I guess the UK just does a better job at puzzles!  The image is clear and crisp and there isn't really any puzzle dust.  I don't miss that!  Since it was a set of 4 1000 piece puzzles, it came in a pretty oversize box.  But the posters that are inside (1 for each puzzle) are the thickest and nicest paper of any puzzle poster I have ever seen!  Wow!  Who needs the box image?  This is a really pleasant and fun puzzle so far.  Challenging but not frustrating.  Loving it!

Goodness, this was a fun puzzle to put together!  My first Falcon and won't be my last!  I now have to decide if I do another from this set or switch out to something else...   No matter when I complete them, this set of corner shops puzzles from Falcon is a winner all around!  Pure joy start to finish!  Exactly what you want your puzzle experience to be.

eeBoo Piece and Love Marrakesh - 1000 pieces

I have been really excited to do this puzzle and wanted to get more from eeBoo.  I am liking some things about it but not liking others.  The colors are beautiful and vivid.  But the high gloss may have too much shine under lights.  Time will tell.  But it is beautiful, I can tell.  No puzzle dust, really.  That is nice.  The pieces feel good and I thought had a decent 'snap' but then I had a couple instances of pieces doing the mis-fit thing.  Meaning, they didn't belong there but they totally fit there.  More than one instance. So now I know I am really going to have to be super careful about multiple fits.  However, it has a really nice poster and you know I like that.  It says it is 23 x 23 but it looks bigger than that to me.  So I do like my first eeBoo puzzle, but will have to see how I feel about the multiple placement of pieces when I am all finished with the whole thing.

So I ended up enjoying this puzzle a lot!  There were more of the tricky spots where pieces could fit well where they didn't belong, but the image was so colorful and fun and engaging that it didn't bother me as much.  I think it was just particularly hard at the very beginning when you are trying to get your groove going.  I will definitely buy more from this company.  And I love that it is women owned and designed.  The size is nice, too... the square 23 x 23 shape.  The pieces are smaller and I admit I get spoiled by WM and large pieces, but these felt good in the hand.  And ZERO puzzle dust.  At all!  LOVE that.  And the poster.  :D
